Meanings and Interpretation

– Making room for the new, and taking a break for better.

– The end of something, perhaps a job, a relationship, a situation, an organization.

– On spiritual level, a symbolic death where you eliminate obsolete beliefs that might have been a hindrance.

– “Death/the end” is usually hard, but it must happen before transformation or resurrection occur.

– Up to the mind to grasp the sense of the changes and accept the death as a trailblazer for something new.

– Letting something drag on beyond its natural life span, leading to stagnation.

– Continuation of undesired situation.

– If half-hearted, one would lose a chance.

Advice (should be referred to especially along with Shadow Side):

– Reflect and contemplate thoroughly on what to throw away and what to continue.

– Acknowledge a change with sincere heart and accept an ending naturally.

– Let go, and transform what is old.

– 真摯な心で変化を認め、自然に終わりが来たことを受け入れる。

Nothing lasts forever. Life is permanently changing. While some things end, some things start. Sometimes it doesn’t even matter if the end is painful or the new beginning is welcomed or vice versa. Life presents never-ending circle of death and rebirth, good-bye and encounter. Death is the controlling factor in the cycle of the eternal “growing and decaying” that connects the successive forms of creation with each other. Understanding death allows gaining wise insight into “new becoming”.  At the time of death, one harvests all the learning’s of life.
