Five stands for Geburah in the Tree of Life, implying motion, change and the power of destruction that breaks the stability and structure of the Four. The airy Sword recognizes that they need to stick to their unsteady nature, no matter what the price might be. In Geburah, the logical and intelligent Swords are forced to unveil everything clearly, finding out uncomfortable truth. This causes great pain that no reasonable argument would soften. However experiencing defeat is necessary in life in order to develop and to achieve a greater truth.
