Taking happiness as the purpose of life can cause much higher stress than otherwise because difficulties and unreasonableness are inevitable in life, and such a conflict between reality and expectation creates the feeling of unhappiness. Expectation is the source of all unhappiness

and stress one way or the other. Life would be much less stressful if we could just take things “as it is” with the attitude of “oh okey~”.

生きてるなら困難も理不尽さも当たり前のことなのだから「幸せ」というものを人生の目的にしてしまうと現実と期待の狭間で混乱して幸せと思うことができなくなって大変。そもそも、期待をするということが不幸せとストレスの原因なんだけどさ。その状況をそのまんまありのままに受け止めて「そっか〜」と流せたらいいのにね。
